‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah, writing about the relationships of men and women in Europe, that Iranian men dismiss their own wives and look for love and pleasure outside of their marriage while it is different in Europe, as men and women love each other and they prefer to spend their time with each other rather than with others. However, this is not Iranians' fault either, as they sometime are married when they are five or six, without their personal choice. Complaint against Fath al-Dawlah, 1920
Two brothers, Karbalayi Muhammad ʻAli and ʻAli Akbar, complain to the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, against Fath al-Dawlah, who left his wife, the sister of these two brothers, and his child 15 months ago. In this period, his child died and these two brothers, who have their own families to feed, must now provide for their sister too; the office [of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] in Hamadan writes to this Ministry that Fath al-Dawlah, who works for the British and had been in Hamadan for business, had married, but left his wife after the business was completed. Letter from Muhammad, 1895
Muhammad writes about how he convinced ‘Abd al-Samad Khan and ‘Abd al-Riza Khan, brother-in-laws of the late Firuz Mirza (first wife: daughter of Mustawfi al-Mamalik; and second wife: Hajiyah Huma Khanum), to support his suggestions. He suggests matching one of Muzaffar al-Din Shah's daughters with Nasir al-Dawlah, son of the late Firuz Mirza, and matching the late Firuz Mirza's daughters with Nusrat al-Dawlah and other princes. Also, he recommends hiding this matter from Najm al-Saltanah and Munavvar al-Saltanah.

Copy of the divorce settlement between Mansurah Khanum Buluri Tafrishi (born in 1917), the daughter of Banu Akhtar and Mirza Mahdi Khan, and Habib Allah Vaziri (born in 1900), the son of Banu Khatun Jan and Muhammad; Mansurah Khanum paid three thousand rials, the price of the lamp and the mirror, to Habib Allah Khan; both agreed that the mother will keep the custody of the two children for as long as she wishes and the father accepts the expenses; the mother agreed to not ask for expenses from the father.
